Lisa has taken out one of the members of the month of April 2019.???
Slim has been a role model to her family, friends and all our new members at BBL. To date Lisa has supported staff, encouraged new members and given her time to attend nutrition challenge information session’s to share her story with our new members.
(Lisa is our first member to receive member of the month for the second time due to her Loyalty to us.)
We wish we had another 100 of her!
Few words from Slim below.?
My story is no different from a lot of other people out there, I put my boys before me & thought that was just how my life was going to be. This “before” photo was taken in Oct 2015 & it was a catalyst for me wanting to do something about the path my life was taking. I had met Mick about a year or so earlier & he had often tried to get me to join BBL but I always had an excuse. He told me about a Friday morning Mum’s & Bub’s class in Nov 15 & this time I had no excuses not to go. My first session was hard but something from the old me was ignited and I was hooked. In February, I will be honest, I limped into my first Challenge unsure if I was up for the challenge of changing my diet & that of my family. But from the word go, I stuck to the meal plan created by the amazing Georgia and saw a huge shift on the scales after the first week, that was motivation enough for me to keep going.
To date I have lost over 20kg & 66.5cms, I can now run around Holmesville Oval in under 2 minutes & attend bootcamp three times a week and play Touch Footy one night a week. In my 40’s, I feel better about myself, my clothes fit me better & I have never felt fitter.
This time I have sprinted my way into my 2nd 60 Day Challenge and look forward to smashing my new set of goals, with the ever present support & encouragement from Mick, Josh, Georgia, my fellow BBL crew and my husband Shane.
